Biblia Pauperum

Yarn as the medium for transformation entwines progressively the visual elements, its figures and words, its scenes, the representation of a world view.                     While on the front of the embroidery some fragments remain recognizable, they dissolve on the back. The picture material experiences a reordering process.  Manuscript/ template: Biblia Pauperum, c. 1330, Germany/Tirol                                       PDF: BP_English    PDF: BP_Deutsch
