Portraits, set and produced for consumers as postcards, or public photos from the internet, form the basis of the work.
Partial modifications and visual devices like cutting out, shifting or merely turning parts of the figures comment, caricature or intensify the characters. Through the shadow play in the added third dimension they even seem to come alive.
